EM-MIIe SERIES

The EM-MIIe range features an unrivaled dual servo electric motor punching system and AMADA’s industry-leading tool turret which is available in two different configurations (Z and K versions). 

 

These features provide quicker, superior-quality processing.

 

The optional tool identification systems and dedicated tapping units reduce setup times and allow for even more process integration for higher efficiency.

FEATURES - EM-MIIe SERIES

Achieves high-speed and stable machining

A simple and efficient mechanism – AC servo direct twin drive

  • A simple and well-balanced structure with a dedicated AC servo motor directly connected to the left and right of the eccentric shaft. This efficient movement achieves an amazingly high stroke and an optimum stroke for the plate thickness.

Tough frame structure – High rigidity bridge frame.

  • Frame thickness 50mm (40mm for EM-2510MIIe), upper frame height 150mm higher! As a result, the rigidity has been further increased, resulting in an even tougher structure.

Expansion of processing area of 5′ x 10′ material.

  • The X-axis travel distance is 3050mm ( for EM-2612MⅡe, EMZ-3612MⅡe, EMK-3612MⅡe), which enables stable machining at high speed without having to change grips on 5' x 10' material. It also reduces complicated programming tasks.

Digital management of quality with ID Tools

Prevents tool mounting mistakes ID monitor.

  • Equipped with ID monitor linked with NC.
  • Useful information during tool setup is displayed on the monitor to improve workability and reduce setup time.

Digital management of tools.

  • Compatible with tool solutions and ID tool systems.
  • By always reflecting the tool usage history in ID information, cutting edge wear can be predicted, and by maintaining stable tool conditions, stable processing quality can be achieved.

Automatic and high-speed realization of manual and time-consuming finishing work

High-speed, high-productivity tapping.

  • Equipped with a tap unit in the turret. The processing range is shared with the punching process, and there is no need to change the grip of the clamp during tapping, thereby shortening the processing time and programming time.

  • * Supports cutting and rolling

Dramatically streamlining post-process work –  High-speed marking processing.

  • Achieves a hit rate of 1800min-1. By engraving the product name, lot number, bending line instructions, welding position instructions, etc., post-process work is dramatically streamlined.

Finishing work can be done automatically and at high speed.

  • The back side of the workpiece is evenly pressed against the die chip processed on the C side, and burrs are crushed.
  • This deburring die is used after overtaking. Reference: Deburring tool size: □6×6mm・□6×20mm・Φ2

AMNC4ie

  • The new AMNC 4ie NC system is developed based on the concept of the "4 e's" to address the key issues in sustainability, namely "human issues" and "environmental issues." In addition to controlling machines and peripheral devices, the AMNC 4ie has enhanced interface functions to connect customers and machines.

  • Language and screen display can be switched.

Startup Inspection Guidance

  • Navigation video that allows anyone to perform startup inspections according to the procedures. Management and sharing of inspection history.

Mobile HMI

  • Notification of remote start/end prediction/completion using mobile HMI.

CO2 Emission Reporting Function

  • CO2 emissions are measured for each component, and reports can be created and filed.

FUNCTIONALITY - EM-MIIe SERIES

P&F mechanism (option)

  • The forming cylinder lifts only the tip of the forming die, enabling forming on the same pass line as the punch.
  • Achieves high-height molding with little distortion, reducing back scratches and bending of the material.

floating brush table

  • When the material is moved after downward forming, the brush table around the turret rises by 5 mm along with the material to prevent interference between the die and the material.

Slug suction device (option)

  • The vacuum is used to forcefully discharge the scraps into the scrap box.
  • Inverter-controlled 3-stage suction power prevents scraps from rising.

3 clamp positioners (optional)

  • Supports automatic clamp positioning and long-term continuous automatic operation by program. * Three clamp positioners can be installed.
