VC-500II

The new face of the vertical automatic TIG welder.

 

Equipped with digital inverter pulse TIG welding power supply for both AC and DC.

Automatically sets the welding current and torch speed by selecting four elements from the pull-down menu: Material, thickness, Fitting Shape, and Welding Method.


Teaching uses a joystick to indicate the start and end points of welding, as well as a back gauge that can be moved up and down (electrically operated) and adjusted (manually) to suit the height and joint geometry of the workpiece to ensure user-friendliness.

FEATURES - VC-500II

Easy setting of welding conditions

  • Optimal welding conditions such as welding current and torch speed can be determined by simply selecting four conditions on the touch panel: material, plate thickness, joint shape (square/flat), and welding method (continuous/pointed). Set automatically.

Welding torch teaching by point to point

  • A "Point-to-Point" teaching method is used to operate the welding torch with a joystick. By specifying the welding start/end coordinates, the torch trajectory is automatically generated while linearly interpolating between the two points.
  • The torch uses a 3-axis orthogonal coordinate system, and the welding position can be fine-tuned according to the workpiece.
  • Up to 8 points can be specified for start/end point alignment (4 straight lines, 8 points).
  • Qualifications for industrial robot special education (teaching) are not required when handling.

Expansion of processing area (correspondence to irregular shapes)

  • By changing the setup of the welding torch, it is possible to weld the upper surface of the workpiece in addition to the side surface.
  • By adjusting the abutment position, it can also handle inclined and irregularly shaped workpieces.

Digital inverter power supply for both AC and DC

  • Equipped with a high output inverter type welding power source.
  • Abundant functions can be automatically switched by program control.
  • High output (maximum 150A): Contributes to distortion reduction during short-time welding.
  • Pulse welding function: measures against burn-through during thin plate processing.
  • AC current function: Effective during AL machining.

CCD camera & LED lighting (optional)

  • Check the tip of the welding torch during teaching to help fine-tune the target position.
  • When using the CCD camera, the LED light automatically turns on to make the image clearer.

movable butt

  • The butt can be raised and lowered from 0 to 500 mm (electric), and the angle can be set at any position from 90° to 180° (manually bolted at any angle). Teaching workability has been improved.
