Launch of the "ORSUS-3015AJe" Fiber Laser Cutting Machine and "SRB-1003" Press Brake in Overseas Markets
Product lineup enhancement for expansion of the global market.
AMADA CO., LTD. (Isehara City, Kanagawa Prefecture; President: Takaaki Yamanashi) has developed the ORSUS-3015AJe fiber laser cutting machine and the SRB-1003 press brake for sales to overseas markets. The rollout of sales in overseas markets will begin in June 2025.
The sheet metal processing performed in a region is influenced by the industrial structure of that territory. It is therefore necessary to offer a machine lineup and proposals that are tailored to the location, and this is especially true for sales overseas. The machines being newly added to the lineup are equipped with a carefully chosen selection of innovative features. The costs have been reduced through the rationalisation of the design and by conducting procurement globally. As a result, the machines have excellent cost performance, even among the other middle range machines. AMADA is enhancing its lineup of high-end to mid-range products, which is where the company excels, and is aiming to further expand its share of the market by introducing new, differentiated products. AMADA also aims to promote sales of these products by utilising the global AMADA network to provide rapid support and supplies, including for new customers.
The lineup of ORSUS-3015AJe fiber laser cutting machines will offer a working range up to 3,070 mm x 1,550 mm, and oscillator outputs of 3kW, 6kW and 8kW. The machines realise high-speed, high-quality machining due to the adoption of a carriage with a low 2 center of gravity to support high acceleration and deceleration. The machines are equipped with “AMNC 4ie,” the latest NC equipment that makes operation easier, even for first-time users. It is planned that the product will mainly be sold in North America, Europe, and other areas in Asia (excluding Japan).
The SRB-1003 press brake has a press capacity of 1,000 kN and a bending length of 3,110 mm. It has a combination of left and right independently-controlled hydraulic cylinders and a natural crowning mechanism, which enables it to achieve high precision. The system is packaged with safety devices and options that contribute to work improvement and setup time reduction. These make it possible for even first-time customers to perform the work with peace of mind. It is planned that the product will mainly be sold in Europe and other areas in Asia (excluding Japan). AMADA will support the entire manufacturing industry by working together with customers to improve overall productivity. It will also contribute to the solving of social issues by further advancing solutions that use digital technology to optimise entire plants, to enable operation without skills, to automate processes, and to reduce the burden placed on the environment.
