CAD/CAM For Pipe Indexing Device

 

This is a dedicated CAM for creating programs for processing pipe products and shaped steel with a laser machine (CAD software required SheetWorks for Unfold).
 

By transferring the developed data output from SheetWorks to “Dr.ABE_Tube”, cutting with a laser machine with a pipe index is possible.

Dr. ABE_Tube

  • You can create a program for a processing machine with a high-performance indexing mechanism. (FOM2 rotary index/ENSIS-RI) You can also create a program for a processing machine with a chucking mechanism. (FOM2 chucking index/BREVIS chucking index)
  • Automatic nesting of pipes and steel materials can be performed. Also product management for nesting is available.

FUNCTIONALITY - Dr.ABE_Tube

nesting

  • Arrange multiple parts on standard length material with good yield.
  • After selecting the parts and entering the quantity, execute nesting.
  • You can nest 100 pieces of 250 parts.
  • Nesting considering seams can be performed.
  • You can check the overall yield with the nesting result button.
  • If both ends of the part were cut flat, a shared width cut can be made.

automatic processing

  • If you click Auto process, the machining trajectory is automatically assigned according to the assignment condition settings and a program is created.
  • Nesting creates programs for all tabs at once. The creation status is indicated by a signal.
  • If the program can be created normally, it will be displayed with a green mark.
  • If yellow or red is displayed, confirmation and correction are required.

simulation

  • You can check the operation of the created program in 3D.
  • You can check the same operations as the actual machine, such as repositioning and support retraction processing.

advanced cutting 1

  • Dr.ABE_Tube automatically judges from the analysis information sent from SheetWorks and creates the cutting trajectory and processing order so that the cut surfaces are clean.

Cut off steel flange

  • You can cut flanges from standard steel to create scalene steel. The cutting locus is automatically set from the material information and the analysed shape.

work instruction

  • You can print the setup information of the created program.
