Advantages of fiber laser welding

“Distortion is different in fiber laser welding”

  • Compared to conventional TIG welding, fiber laser welding has less heat impact on the material, so it can significantly reduce burning and distortion, and can significantly reduce post-welding finishing man-hours.

“Fiber laser welding has different penetration”

  • Compared to conventional TIG welding, fiber laser welding has a higher energy density and becomes "keyhole welding" with narrow and deep penetration. Corresponds to the machining area.

Improving welding ability by increasing output

Welding ability comparison:

  • Compared to our conventional machines, the welding capability has been greatly improved due to the higher output.
  • Both SUS and AL can penetrate a plate thickness of 4 mm. In addition, the leg length can be made up to 2 mm.
  • This greatly expands the machining area.

Welding speed comparison:

  • With our conventional machines, as the plate thickness increases, the welding speed must be reduced in order to apply heat to the material.
  • FLW1500MT is capable of high-speed welding even in areas with a maximum plate thickness of 4mm.

New function: Equipped with wobbling mechanism

  • A wide bead can be formed by swinging the laser beam left and right.
  • It improves the ability to handle gaps and achieves stable filler welding.

Wide range of welding capabilities

  • By using high output and wobbling functions, etc., the processing range is greatly expanded compared to our conventional machines. It is now applicable not only to precision sheet metal but also to a wide range of products.

Easy laser welding without skill

  • Welding is performed by contacting the carbon nozzle at the tip of the torch with the workpiece, so stable operation is possible regardless of the operator.
  • The laser beam stops when the workpiece is not in contact to prevent danger.
  • Processing conditions can be set using the dedicated application on the operating terminal. Standard conditions are already installed for each material plate thickness at the time of delivery. In addition, custom conditions allow customers to register their own conditions.

Compact & highly efficient machine

  • Compared to our conventional machines, the oscillator and control panel are integrated, which saves space.
  • Like our conventional machine, it does not require a chiller because it is completely air-cooled. In addition, the energy efficiency has been further improved compared to conventional models, resulting in a significant improvement in energy-saving performance.
