FLW-ENSISe SERIES

AMADA is the technology leader in fiber laser welding cells.

 

The FLW-ENSISe welding cell has many features that make it unique in terms of welding quality, welding speed, and productivity. The basic configuration of the cell consists of AMADA’s own fiber laser engine, a 6-axis robot on a linear carriageway, a turn and tilt table, and an active safety cabin. Depending on the expansion level, additional, useful features can be added.

FEATURES - FLW-ENSISe Series

Equipped with new NC AMNC 4ie

  • We developed a new NC based on four concepts to address social issues such as labor shortages, work style reform, and environmental issues.

High-speed, high-quality welding using a new in-house oscillator

  • The fiber laser welding machine proposed by Amada is capable of high-speed, high-quality welding that is unique to laser welding. ENSIS technology provides greater adaptability than previous machines, from finer welds to products with gaps.

FUNCTIONALITY - FLW-ENSISe Series

Push-Pull Filler function

  • This enables stable machining of wire, which was previously difficult. This improves the ability to deal with gaps and allows overlay welding to be performed without setup changes.

Beam weaving mechanism

  • Since the laser beam itself is rotated using an optical lens, welding can be performed at a higher speed than conventional robot weaving. Since it can compensate for the thinness of the bead peculiar to laser welding, it has strengths such as improved response to gaps, a significant reduction in aiming misalignment, and stable filler processing.

NC focus control

  • By moving the condenser lens inside the processing head up and down, it is possible to change the laser spot diameter and power density even within the same teaching program. Therefore, multiple conditions can be set in one step without changing the trajectory of the robot, from low-distortion welding with narrowed light to smooth welding with blurred light.

Nozzle gap automatic adjustment function

  • During teaching, you can automatically adjust by focusing the camera in the height direction (Z direction) of the product. Compared to conventional visual confirmation using a monitor screen, adjustments can be made more accurately and quickly.

Setup navigation

  • Setup information of the created program data can be viewed on the operation stand display. In addition to the data created with VPSS 4ie WELD, photos and memos of actual setup for repeat production can be saved by linking them to the program. By systematically recording setup information, anyone can set up, contributing to reliable and speedy manufacturing.

Teaching Support System (AI-TAS)

  • The robot program is automatically corrected using AI that has learned various joint shapes. Operators will be able to perform other tasks from the time the product is set until the welding process is completed, contributing to improved manufacturing efficiency.

  • Cutting can be performed by changing the setup from the welding nozzle and changing the conditions. It can be used for a wide range of applications, such as additional processing to three-dimensional shapes and sudden design changes.

Branch handy torch
