FEATURES - EG Series

Realise easy operation

  • By adopting an AMNC 3i multi-touch LCD panel and incorporating a user-centered design, it is possible to operate the screen intuitively like a smartphone, giving consideration to improving the operability of the operator. The conventional horizontal 15-inch display has been expanded to a vertical 18.5-inch wide display, allowing you to check the information necessary for programming and bending at a glance. By enhancing the display function, tooling information can be displayed realistically.

Ergonomics design (EG-4010)

  • It is possible to perform NC operation, change tools, and load/unload workpieces in a natural posture. It reduces the burden on your body.

  • It is a compact and powerful machine that can be used in various locations including urban areas.

High-speed, high-precision bending for processing small items

Achieve maximum productivity with minimum energy.

  • 1) New servo drive system (DSP: Dual Servo Press Mechanism) Equipped with two servo motors for high-output machining and high-speed stroke, achieving high speed and high productivity while saving energy.
  • 2) The new backgauge system has achieved even higher precision and productivity. L-axis repeatability is ±0.003mm.
  • 3) Rigidity is improved with a frame that pursues an optimal shape through analysis of the new high-rigidity frame structure. We have achieved thick plate processing, coining processing, and high-precision alignment angles.

Solutions for trial bending and stable processing.

  • 1) Angle sensor (option) Equipped with an angle sensor (Bi-S) supports angle adjustment from the first sheet without trial bending.
  • 2) Load control: The target angle can be obtained automatically by controlling the table by monitoring the pressure instead of the D-value position, setting the load (basic load) at 90°, and performing machining. It reduces the influence of plate thickness and grain and achieves stable high-quality processing.
  • 3) TDS plate thickness detection function: Reads variations in plate thickness and automatically corrects the table position to achieve stable processing.

FUNCTIONALITY - EG SERIES

LED lighting (front, rear)

  • LED lighting is attached to the front and back of the upper table. Brightly illuminates your hands and contributes to improved workability.

Tool grip

  • AMADA standard type GRIP for punches with tapered grooves to prevent punches from falling.
  • AGRIP-M: Manual type (standard)
  • AGRIP-A: Hydraulic type (option)

Tool die holder

  • Reduce setup time for 1V die holder reversible die replacement. Prevents split dies from falling or slipping, eliminating the need for centering each time the die is replaced.

3 position foot pedal

  • Speed ​​control by stepping on:
  • Adjust the table speed during machining by pressing down
  • Accident prevention with 3-position system:
  • Three stages of ON/OFF/Take off
  • Machine stops when stepping off
  • Equipped with wheels for improved operability:
  • Foot pedal with wheels, easy to move during processing
  • Expanded work space underfoot:
  • Cutouts at the bottom of the machine for closer table access

Hazard prevention device

  • 1) New "laser safety device" (option) You can work while ensuring productivity with the new "laser safety device".
  • 2) Side guards (no interlock) prevent entry through frame gaps.
  • 3) Prevents intrusion from the rear part of the rear guard.
  • 4) The emergency stop button is placed on the NC operation panel.
  • 5) "Off mode" is placed on the interlock (off mode) process selection key. When "OFF mode" is selected, all axes will stop.

earth leakage breaker

  • Prevent accidents caused by electric leakage.
  • Earth leakage breaker is sensitive current 30mA inverter compatible and will not trip on harmonic currents.
  • * When installing a factory side earth leakage breaker, be sure to install an inverter compatible type.
  • If it is not inverter-compatible, it may cause malfunction of electric leakage detection.

L shift

  • Left and right backgauges can be offset forward and backward.
  • Stable Butt enables stable butting of products with complex shapes.
  • Can be used as a side gauge for material positioning and misalignment prevention.
  • Maximum offset amount is 300mm.
  • *EG does not have a back gauge tilt function.

OPTIONAL - EG SERIES

New "laser safety device" AS-01

  • Great consideration was given to productivity and workability from a development perspective unique to a processing machine manufacturer.
  • Reduces the risk of hands or fingers getting caught between the punch and die.
  • Hands can be prevented from entering from the side of the machine by installing the side cover (with interlock) at the same time.

No-trial bending, high-precision processing. Bi-S (EG-4010 is 1 axis only)

  • Double-sided contact angle sensor.
  • Processing to the target angle without trial bending.
  • High speed & precision.

W clamp butt

  • Horizontal positioning enables stable abutment.
  • The end point can be selected with AMNC 3i or VPSS 3i BEND.

base block

  • A base block that raises the working height is available for large operators and customers who mainly work standing.
  • *Select from 100mm or 150mm

front table

  • A work table that can be adjusted according to the tool height. Equipped with a side stopper to support small product processing. It can also be used in combination with a beam type safety device.

  • It can be used as a blank material when bending small items and as a temporary storage for finished products. Efficient bending work is carried out, and height and rotation adjustment are possible.
  • *Comes with a chair for sitting work.

  • It is possible to work while sitting on a chair, and the height of the chair can be changed freely. Frees the operator from standing work. Since the foot pedal can be stored in the lower part of the machine, it is possible to work closer to the tool and work more efficiently.

Footrest (EG-4010 only)

  • Ergonomic foot pedal:
  • You can set the incline to a comfortable angle
  • You can control the speed by stepping on

  • Can be removed according to processing

Amada Modular Tooling System (EG-6013 only)

  • The built-in clamp pin of the tool holder is operated by hydraulic pressure, and the AMTS tool is automatically clamped with one touch. The tool can be attached at any position, eliminating the need for centering process. The safety click prevents the punch from falling and secures it securely.

Hydraulic 1V die holder

  • Split 1V dies, AFH dies, etc. are automatically clamped by hydraulic pressure. Clamping/unclamping is possible with one switch. A slit is attached to the clamping plate, and finely divided dies can be securely fixed.
