The HG is an AMADA solution that can get the most from the bending process providing unrivaled productivity and precision.

 

The HG is based on a hybrid technology for outstanding speed, dynamics, and positioning accuracy, plus considerable energy-saving features. Active hydraulic crowning and an active angle measuring system ensure maximum precision and linearity for all types of parts and materials, without the need for corrections. The back gauge, in the standard 5-axis configuration and optional configuration with additional Delta X, delivers an outstanding performance in terms of speed and dynamics always delivering precise positioning.

Realise easy operation

By adopting an AMNC 3i

  • multi-touch LCD panel and incorporating a user-centered design, it is possible to operate the screen intuitively like a smartphone, giving consideration to improving the operability of the operator. The conventional horizontal 15-inch display has been expanded to a vertical 18.5-inch wide display, allowing you to check the information necessary for programming and bending at a glance. By enhancing the display function, tooling information can be displayed realistically.

High-speed, high-precision bending of thin to thick plates

Achieve maximum productivity with minimum energy.

  • New hybrid drive system/hybrid crowning system.
  • The variable hydraulic piston pump and the high-precision servo motor that controls it have achieved the world's highest level of high-speed production and energy saving at the same time.
  • With a hybrid crowning system that supports a pressure upper limit of 500%, all models of the HG series achieve an accuracy of ±15' regardless of where they are bent over the entire length.
  • New backgauge system
  • The new backgauge system has achieved even higher precision and productivity. L-axis repeatability is ±0.003mm.
  • New high-rigidity frame/open height expansion
  • The newly designed high-rigidity frame, which pursues the optimum shape through structural analysis, expands the open height and machine stroke, further expanding the range of deep bending processing.

Solutions for trial bending and stable processing.

  • Angle sensor (option)
  • Equipped with an angle sensor (Bi-S) supports angle adjustment from the first sheet without trial bending.
  • In addition, Bi automatic 1-axis/2-axis 3-point measurement is possible.
  • This is a system that sets a load target to achieve a load control of 90°, bends the material up to the target pressure value, and automatically adjusts the angle. It reduces the influence of plate thickness and grain and achieves stable high-quality processing.
  • Hemming bending is also possible with the load control function.

LED lighting (front, rear)

  • LED lighting is attached to the front and back of the upper table.
  • Brightly illuminates your hands and contributes to improved workability.

Follower device SF-1224TL (option)

  • 50 kg for 1 axis, 100 kg for 2 axes.
  • Maximum size 1000 x 2000 mm (1219 x 2438 mm up to t = 2.3 mm).
  • Can be moved to an evacuation station when not in use.

Tracking device SF-1548H (option)

  • Maximum processing weight 150kg
  • Maximum processing size 1250 x 2500mm
  • It is effective in saving labor, preventing bending of products, and supporting deep bending processing. Can be moved to an evacuation station when not in use.

Slide material support (optional)

  • This is a material support that can be used in combination with Bi-S and Bi-L when processing heavy materials such as medium and thick plates and thin materials that tend to bend.

Automatic slide foot pedal (option)

  • A foot pedal that automatically moves left and right for each bending process. It reduces the foot pedal installation work associated with lateral movement during step bend processing, contributing to a comfortable processing environment.

Manual slide foot pedal (option)

  • A foot pedal with a slide function that can be easily moved left and right by pushing it by hand. When processing large materials, it can be removed from the slide rail and used like a normal foot switch.

AGRIP

  • Amada standard type grip for punches with tapered grooves to prevent punches from falling.

Modular Tooling System (Option)

  • One-touch automatic clamping of AMTS tools by actuating the built-in clamp pin of the tool holder with hydraulic pressure. The tool can be attached at any position, eliminating the need for centering process. The safety click prevents the punch from falling and secures it securely.

1V die holder reversible

  • Reduces die change setup time. Prevents split dies from falling or slipping, eliminating the need for centering each time the die is replaced.

Hydraulic 1V die holder (option)

  • Split 1V dies, AFH dies, etc. are automatically clamped by hydraulic pressure.
  • Clamping/unclamping is possible with one switch. A slit is attached to the tightening plate, and thin split dies can be securely fixed.

Hazard prevention measures.

  • New "laser safety device" (option) The new "laser safety device" allows you to work safely while ensuring productivity.
  • Side guard (no interlock) prevents entry through the frame gap.
  • Prevents entry from behind the sliding rear guard.
  • The emergency stop button operation pendant is placed on the lower table (left and right).
  • "Off mode" is placed on the interlock (off mode) process selection key. When "OFF mode" is selected, all axes will stop.
